What do I need to file gel nails :

• 100-180 nail file
• White nail buffer

Steps to file gel nails

1. File free edge of the nail from left to right
2. File the sides of the nail, to have two very parallel sides
3. File the sides, near the edge of the free edge, to remove excess gel and have the sides straight
4. File the surface of the nail at an angle, always from the outside to the inside
5. File the nail surface of the free edge towards the center and vice versa, vertically, without touching the point of stress
6. File the nail close to the cuticles to fine-tune the transition between the nail and the covering, with rounded movements from right to left then from left to right.
7. If the nail is still a little thick, has imperfections or the point of stress is not in the right place, repeat the previous steps
8. Pass a white block on the surface of the nail and the free edge to remove the file lines
9. Repeat on the other nails
10. Finish by passing a top coat or a gel polish
